Comprehensive Care Seeks Holiday Healthcare Heroes

The Nashville area home care provider and certified Great Place to Work seeks to expand its workforce of dedicated caregivers in Davidson and surrounding counties.

Amid the hustle and bustle of the holiday season, Comprehensive Care, a home care private duty sitter agency with locations in Nashville and Chattanooga, is once again expanding its workforce of healthcare heroes who are caring for their patients during an especially challenging year.

Comprehensive Care provides non-medical home care for aging and chronically ill individuals in the Chattanooga and Nashville areas who need assistance with everyday tasks. Services include companion care, meal preparation, medication reminders, errands, light housekeeping, bathing and hygiene assistance, and transition from hospital to home.

“Our team members have raised the bar for what it means to be a caregiver in these past few months,” said Justin Hammond, Vice President of Business Development for Comprehensive Care. “The level of sacrifice and commitment we’re seeing from our team is the perfect example of what it means to give back during this season of giving.”

As their busy season continues, Hammond hopes to provide support to these essential healthcare heroes by adding people to their team and lessening the load on current team members.

“We have seen a need for our services skyrocket over the past few months,” said Hammond. “During the holiday season, families are traveling and participating in holiday activities, but they want to make sure their aging or chronically ill loved ones aren’t left behind.” This is where Comprehensive Care steps in to help. “The heroes who work on our team ensure that our patients not only get the care and support they need but that their holiday season is just as special,” Hammond added.

Alleo Health System, the parent company of Comprehensive Care, was recently certified as a Great Place to Work for the third year in a row based on feedback from over 600 employees. The feedback included metrics such as associate pride in the organization’s community impact, belief that their work makes a difference, and feeling their work has special meaning.

“Our Great Place to Work status tells us that people want to come to work at Comprehensive Care and across the entire Alleo Health System,” said Hammond. “We’re incredibly proud of the work environment we’ve created, and we can’t wait to grow our family of caregivers.”

Comprehensive Care of Nashville and Chattanooga is currently seeking professional caregivers and Certified Nursing Assistants to join its team on a full-time, part-time, or on as-needed basis.
